Amazing Place, Wonderful host, Beautiful Views!

The location was wonderful. Overlooking the The water with an amazing view. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Our host, Christina was amazing. She knew everything about the Island and had connections all over the place. She met us when we arrived and had coordinated our pickup and drop-off to and from the airport. She even coordinated our day trips for us since she knew everyone there!! She was available to answer questions all the times. Couldn't have found a better host. Highly recommend staying at Vila Murat. You will not be disappointed. Christina and her team were amazing!! We would recommend her to any of our friends and family!

Cadre paradisiaque et endroit parfait

Un lieu magnifique et très reposant. On pourrait passer la journée dans la piscine chauffée à température idéale, à admirer le panorama : la vue sur le volcan et la mer est hypnotisante. La villa est très agréable, très grande et permet d’avoir de l’intimité pour chacun ainsi qu’une grande table sur la terrasse pour se retrouver ensemble. Une deuxième terrasse sur le toit permet d’avoir une vue panoramique sur les îles et la Caldera. Une expérience inoubliable.

La villa esta situada quizás en el mejor punto de Fira, está en el pueblo pero es de las ultima casas en el punto donde hay transeúntes pero no hay ruido no ni mucha conglomeración de gente. La vista desde la casa de quita el respiro, se necesita un par de días para asimilar la vista y darte cuenta que estás en uno de los lugares más solicitados y deseados del mundo pero tú estás relajándote en tu jacuzzi o en la terraza tomando sol. Desde la casa se ve toda Fira, la caldera, el volcán, la isla entera se despliega anti ti, simplemente mágico! La arquitectura y su interior es tradicional pero minimalista con detalles modernos. La calidad de sueño es equivalente a la de un Hotel 5 estrellas o más. Almohadas, colchón, sábanas excelentes y temperatura del cuarto simplemente perfecta. El convivir se te hace fácil ya que los espacios son súper amplios y la casa es muy espaciosa. Siempre recordaré la amabilidad del personal que bastaba sólo con pedir algo para tenerlo al instante, desde una cápsula de café hasta una excursión en bote al volcán o la visita a unos de los viñedos locales.Santorini tiene un aura única, te resetea la existencia! Su fama no es en vano! La casa goza de mucha privacidad con el mundo exterior.

Family stay at Villa Murat

I very rarely share my travel experiences online, however its not everyday that I get to experience such an extraordinary stay as the one I had at Villa Murat in Caldera Santorini. From the Villas picture perfect location and breath taking scenery and views, to its completely authentic and unique architecture, interior design and comfort. Not to mention its genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful staff. Incredibly this place ticks all the right boxes, with my family thoroughly enjoying the time we spent relaxing at our Villa. Whether it was time spent having breakfast in its elegant terrace overlooking the courtyard and pool. Turning our heads to one side to take in the the truly stunning scenary and views overlooking the town of Caldera and Thira, the Volcano, and the endless Blue of the Aegean Sea!! Or turning our heads to the other side to simply enjoy the Villas very private and tranqual outdoor space. It really is a great feeling when after a day of sightseeing and enjoyment you return back to your accommodation and continue smiling in exactly the same way. Thats what my family experienced walking through our courtyard and entering the cool interior of our Villa. Immediately freshening up, putting on our swim wear and heading straight for our private infinity pool.. Swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying cool beverages... I could go on about the sunsets and evening relaxation both indoors and outdoors but Im not. What I will say is that as far as Villa stays are concerned this place is truly flawless. What is being offered here is not accommodation but a truly unique experience which will stay with my family for many years to come.

Wonderful Villa Murat ...

This is a special place ... it’s a Villa with history that was carefully rebuilt. It has an amazing view for the cratera With a fantastic pool were you can enjoy the view Christina is fantastic and helps in everything you want, and the sweet Maria makes a fantastic breakfast and a home made cake To stay in this large villa in Thira we saw that was the best choice we made besides to stay in Oia. And it’s close. The restaurant close do Villa Murat with a fantastic view ‘Vanila’ is very good, I had my birthday there and they sing the Greece song as a surprise Thank you so much Villa Murat You will stay in my memory forever

Dios mío!!!!! El mejor lugar en el que me he alojado en mucho tiempo. Esta Villa es de por si hermosísima, la ubicación es inmejorable, cada detalle que necesites allí está. Pero lo más importante y lo mejor de esta estadía fue las personas encargadas de este lugar. No tengo palabras para agradecer a Christina y a su esposo por la calidad de personas que son y por haber hecho de nuestro viaje el más lindo y especial.

Helpful manager and beautiful property with views

The location was perfect because you could walk straight to the Fira town center, and there was a restaurant right next door to the Villa. The views are amazing and panoramic from all of the decks, morning and night. The hot tub has jets and was perfect for pictures. The manager was extremely helpful, and helped us book rides, plan our excursions, and was knowledgeable about the area. The breakfasts were freshly made in the kitchen by a chef, were made to accommodate our food restrictions, and were delicious and healthy to start our day. We are two families of five and there was more room for another person to stay in the Villa with us. There was laundry and wine included too. I would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Gorgeous villa with breathtaking views across the caldera! Centrally located and wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Murat and couldn't have asked for better service. Christina organised our transfer from the port and was waiting for us when our driver dropped us off near the villa to help us with our bags. The location was a stunning as the pics online and the accommodation gorgeous. Particularly the plunge pool and spa overlooking the caldera. We were surprised at the Villa with a chilled bottle of local white wine and a plate of fruit on our arrival as well as a cake and candle, as it was also my birthday! A lavish breakfast was served each morning on the terrace prepared by Yanis and Lena. All our questions were answered promptly and the restaurants recommended were very good. I believe we were the first guests at the villa and are looking forward to returning in the future!!

Villa Murat was perfect for our group. We were 2 families, 11 people total. We had plenty of space inside and out. We loved the location- private and somehow quiet even though we were so close to everything. Christina and Maria are true gems. We especially loved the large outdoor table where we had family breakfasts every morning and an amazing dinner one night that Maria cooked for us. Christina was indispensable with logistics and reservations. Staying at the Villa was the highlight of our trip.

Vistas que te dejan sin respiracion!

La ubicacion es espectacular y la casa, un edificio antiguo remodelado, muy bonita. El personal es todo amabilidad, Cristina nos ayudo en todo del principio al final y Maria nos cuido como si fuera nuestra casa. Fue un placer estar alli. No es barato, pero pagas esas vistas unicas en el mundo.

Breathtaking infinity Pool view

Serene Villa Murat is private Villa managed by Christina and her Husband. Since the day on Christina and her husband were so friendly and helpful as the Concierge by taking care of the shuttle service, house keeping , luggage handling and preparing breakfast for us. The architecture and ambiance of the Villa gave the feeling of living in a typical Greek house of Santorini and the view is breathtaking. We tried few shots with the view of infinity pool and all of them look amazing. The location provide ease access to Santorini Square and just walking distance of 10- 15 minutes from there. Apart from that, Christina helped us on arranging a tour, which we admired immensely and felt really worth.
